On Monday 1st November we had a lesson with Eve and Dave on how to use the effects on your camera. I have tried out some of the effects.
1. I changed the exposure value to +2.0
2. I changed the exposure value to -2.0
3. I used a low ISO (not as sensative.) I used it in brightly lit conditions.
4. I used a higer ISO (more sensative.) The higher the ISO the quicker it will react to the light.
5. I used the portrait scene mode. This gave it a large aperture, a narrow depth of focus. This meant that the subject was in focus and the background was blurred.
6.I used the night portrait/party scene mode. This gave it long exposure to light the background.
7. Finally I used the sport scene mode (for moving objects.) This gives it a fast shutter and short exposure. This allows you to capture the moving subject without blur.
