In my group tutorial we discussed what brief we had chosen for our project and shared any initial ideas we had.
As a group we went round and told eachother what heart ment to us. Each person mentioned family.
My initial ideas that I had when I read the brief was to focus on family and celebration. This would be ideal for me as I'm going home this weekend so I could use my family as a focus point for my project. The idea of celebration would also be achieved as it is fireworks night and I am going to a fireworks show at my family friends house, therefore I can use this event to take my photos.
When telling Eve of my ideas she was worried that I was limiting myself to getting shots just this weekend becasue if they did not turn out effectively I wouldn't be able to reshoot them.
Eve then suggested that I can show different perspectives of the same thing, by taking a few shots this weekend and also up at university. This developed my idea to look at all the different relationships in my life. Eve suggested Sam Taylor Wood as an artist to give me inspiration.
