This was our final tutorial until the crit. Before the tutorial I had hit a brick wall. I had taken photos that show the relationships with my family and friends last weekend and now I am planning to take photos with my boyfriend as he is coming up to my uni this weekend, however I wasn't sure how to stage the photos. My previous photos were extremely spontaneous and even though I want these photos to have the same effect, it has to be somewhat staged as its just my boyfriend and I, not a gathering of people.
My first idea for one of the photos was to put the camera on a timer and run in for a photo, therefore making it spontaneous. To include the red I would have red lipstick and kiss a red lipstick mark on his face.
This is were I came to a brick wall as I do not know what else I could do for another photo, however Hannah helped me come up with an idea which could incorporate the sparklers from my first set of photos. She suggested I could buy some sparklers and get my boyfriend to make a heart with the smoke. I found this idea extremely interesting as using the sparkler in some photos shows a link between the photos, which also shows how all my relationships in my life are linked together.
